Stab You Much?
This mirror made out of porcupine quills caught my eye in Lonny Magazine. Porcupine quills are kind of an amazing thing- they are big and thick and striped. There is an animal just walkin’ around with a gaggle of these things poking out of its body. What the what?!? I’ve seen the quills in random stores and you can also order them online. A DIY mirror of porcupine quills would be THE BOMB. Just don’t stick your face on it.
I LOVE this! It is so unique and so beautiful!
When we were in South Africa we saw some beautiful home decorative pieces made using the quills. We even saw a porcupine out in the bush and it was pretty crazy how big they actually are!
