(Top – Madewell, Shorts – Madewell, on sale and available here, Shoes – Pierre Hardy for Gap)
I’ve got a full weekend of making lovey birthday faces at my husband coming up. Plans mostly include beach time and ingesting obscenely large amounts of french toast. So I guess just a normal weekend then…

Last Friday night I spent an evening out with some girlfriends to celebrate my friend’s Bachelorette Party and I must say, it was awesome. Her family was in town for the wedding, and we had an awesome time telling stories and just enjoying being together.
I got this kimono (on sale – holla!) at Anthropologie a couple weeks ago and it has been on constant rotation, it is so cozy and is such a great “throw on with anything” item. Judging by how many times I’ve worn it already, I might wanna get another one right now for when this one gets worn out.
Is it just me, or is it sometimes hard to know what you really like? Lately, I feel like I don’t at all know what I like and what I don’t like.
Anywho, bought a bunch of fun things in the city this weekend that I am really excited to share with you! Photos to come….

Picked up this cute tank on my latest trip to Urban Outfitters.
Today is my birthday! I love birthdays…. I have felt so loved and thought of all day long. Thank you so much to all of my friends and family for all of the blessings!
My fantastic husby snapped this pic after some shopping at Urban Outfitters and some delicious $2 tacos at El Palomar downtown – altogether a great evening!
Picked up some fun new purchases I’m excited to share with you!
I had a reader request a how-to on this large bun – it’s coming soon! Stay tuned!
Watch – March By Marc Jacobs, Bracelet – H&M, Chair – Anthropologie)
I got this awesome sweater at Thrift Town in San Francisco…in the men’s section…it’s an extra-extra-large. And if you can’t already tell by the name of the post – I was inspired by the Olsen Twins. I don’t know about you, but I happen to LOVE the way the Olsen Twins dress. Like everybody else, they have their off days, but on the whole I find them to be completely innovative and fashion forward.
These shoes are part of a line designed by Pierre Hardy (Hermes) for Gap in 2007. Three years later, they still give me joy….and height.
This is my massive bun a la Carrie Bradshaw in Charlotte’s wedding. I know her bun is exceptionally larger than mine, but this was as big as I could get it without adding in some fake hair.

I am a major bargain shopper. This is particularly helpful when you take into account my penchant for designer things. I am a lady on the lookout for a Sale sign at all times. Anthropologie is a store that I love, that is very expensive, BUT also happens to have GREAT sales! All three of the items worn in these photos that were purchased at Anthro were less than $30 each….
