The final and last stop on the weekend of parties was my company Christmas Party. WE HAD A BLAST. If you’re lucky, I may just post some shots of me and some coworkers getting down to “My Humps” by the Black Eyed Peas….
One of the best parts of this evening was that Miss C. was hired to do the decor and coordinate, which means that the evening not only ran smoothly, but was absolutely gorgeous.
Stay tuned for some decor pics, Miss C. is VERY talented 🙂
(Shirt – J. Crew, Shorts – Forever 21, Tie – Borrowed from the husby’s closet, Shoes – Jeffrey Campbell, Coat – Vintage)
One thing I love about the holiday season is the opportunity to get all dolled up and go out (not something that happens often in my sleepy beach town). On this particular night, the husby and I were heading to his company Christmas party. As I was in no mood for a sparkly wintery dress, I slipped on some masculine pickings from my closet (and one from his), and added a bright red lip for a feminine kick.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Elle did a story on Cheryl Crow’s New York loft. Here are some of my favorite pics-
It’s open and airy but warm and inviting all at the same time. And how awesome is that bathroom with the concrete steps up to the tub?! It looks like everything in it is some vintage treasure. Check out the full post here
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Miss Zooey Deschanel. I love Zooey, and have decided that from this point forward I am going to carry on as if we are on a first name basis with one another. So, today, I would like to talk a bit about my friend Zooey, and her incredibly gorgeous style. Zooey always manages to look adorable and yet completely accessible at the same time. The above shots are styled really simply, but all of them are featuring spot-on trends that I’m ready to jump on the wagon with!
1) White! Happy Springtime everyone! Break out the clean white ensembles! I especially love the full petal skirt. Amazing.
2) Stripes! Stripes were. Stripes are. Stripes will always be.
3) The boho headband. In my opinion, it’s slightly tough to get this look right, but I’m gonna try it anyway!
4) Blush colored ensembles! I am loving the soft and feminine style of this trend (paired with my leather jacket of course).
