Last week, Miss C and I headed over to Palo Alto for the launch of the new West Elm store, and WE HAD A BLAST. Girls nights are such a great time. We hung out in the store, picked up a few fun items, enjoyed the DJ spinning tunes, and spent more than our share of time in the photo booth…
And in between the fun times, I managed to snap a few pics with my iPhone to share with you all!
We finished the night over a shared steak and salad. I mean, could there BE a better meal? I love me a good steak!
Be sure you stop by and check out the new store, and let us know what you pick up!
One of my favorite color combos, wether it’s for home decor, clothing, or event decor, is metallic gold and pale pink. Here are some images I have floating around on my desktop, waiting to be used to inspire an event or space…
I’m thinking these David Stark for West Elm plates, with some pale pink peonies?
I can see the dessert table in my mind right now! And it has these authentic french macarons….
Then you must throw in this DIY sequin wall for an awesome photo booth backdrop. These people look like they are having fun, so if you put up this wall, you will have fun too.
Sorry for the lack of posts lately guys. Between moving, still not having the internet at mi casa, and Christmas, my life has been ca-to-the-razy!!
Here are some items I’ve been drooling over online, and most definitely wouldn’t mind finding under my tree come Christmas morn – Hint, hint…
West Elm Zigzag Rug
Eames Rocker in white – Not pregnant, just want one
Equipment Signature Blouse in Nature White
And, ladies and gentlemen, the gift of all gifts, coming in at a whopping $2,310…
The Givenchy Nightingale Bag in Black
What’s on your Christmas Wishlist?
For the last 4 months I have been saving my home-decor budget (a whole $50 a month – woot!) in an attempt to give our living room a total overhaul. While this most definitely doesn’t include all new furniture (I would be saving for the next 3 years…), I have been looking at ways to make everything feel new: ie new paint, some new throw pillows for our couch, etc.
While I am sticking to my strict budget for the actual room overhaul, it’s also really fun to think “What would I want if I could decorate a room from scratch – and had no monetary constraints?”
So, here it is folks, the pieces that make up the current room of my dreams…
